Not only will my summer be insanely incredible, but we&#8217;re also headed on a laid back world trip next fall. To sum up the last few months of my life: I resigned from my last job in March, wrote my bachelor thesis and filed it in this May, rented out our apartment in Helsinki and became a Högsåra inhabitant yesterday.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>To ride a bike equipped with 25mm wide tires on the narrow sand roads of Högsåra was out of the question, so my Mongoose had to go. Fortunately the bike was sold to a loving and caring person who allegedly takes care of the bike as a dog puppy. My 4th birthday. The day my father played such a nasty trick on me, it still haunts my memories like a restless soul trying to find peace. My brother got a beautiful blue and white Danish bicycle for his birthday. I got a 2cm x 1cm yellow plastic model bicycle.</p> <p>Realizing that his practical joke wasn&#8217;t mutually amusing, my father quickly pulled out the real bike from behind a sofa, but the traumatic damage to a little four-year-old had already been irreversibly done. Fortunately the recovery period didn&#8217;t last for more than 15 minutes which, in retrospect, felt like a disastrous eternity of crying and yelling. Regardless of this traumatic episode of the past, it also was the day of learning to Ride and discovering people to Ride with.
